As the Chief Financial Officer, David provides executive leadership of Pathstone’s internal financial function, directing the firm’s financial and accounting practices and overseeing strategic financial goals. He has over 25 years of experience driving growth, achieving profitable returns, and streamlining operations.
Prior to Pathstone, David served as the CFO and Chief Operating Officer of Sentinel Benefits & Financial Group for 14 years, and was one of the firm’s four business partners. During this time, he led Sentinel’s M&A efforts, successfully integrating eight acquisitions, which more than tripled Sentinel’s revenue base over a ten year period. Additionally, David served as the Financial & Operations Principal (Series 27) for Sentinel Securites, Inc. Under David’s leadership, Sentinel became part of Focus Financial Partners, a well-known publicly traded company in the financial services industry.
David is passionate about building high-performing, cross-functioning teams that share a common purpose of building impactful businesses. He has a track record of creating value and driving execution by challenging the status quo and pursuing creative solutions to achieve top-line growth and bottom-line profitability.
David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Science degree in Finance from Bentley College.
David lives in Wakefield, MA with his wife and four children. In his free time he enjoys early morning runs and likes to spend winter holidays in the New Hampshire mountains.
