Matthew Sher is Pathstone’s Chief Technology Officer and Chief Administrative Officer. He is also a shareholder of the firm and a member of the firm’s Executive Leadership Team.
As CTO he manages the firms network systems, data, and processes in order to ensure that the technology infrastructure is supporting Pathstone’s business strategy, employees, and clients. As CAO, Matt manages the day-to-day firm operations and the Human Resources group.
Prior to joining Pathstone, Matt was a Principal for Harris myCFO Investment Advisory Services. He graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis and received his MBA from the University of Illinois. Matt also holds the CFP® (Certified Financial Planner™) designation.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. (CFP Board) owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP® (with plaque design), and CFP® (with flame design) in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
