    Sarah is an Associate at Pathstone’s Atlanta office. She brought significant legal tax planning and consulting experience when she joined the firm’s Tax Team in 2020, where she focuses on tax preparation, planning, and advisory services.

    Sarah began her legal career as a tax attorney at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP in Washington, DC, followed by Nixon Peabody LLP where her practice involved representing clients on a variety of tax matters and tax credit transactions. Prior to relocating to Atlanta, she also served as a tax law editor at Bloomberg BNA, where she was responsible for the business entities and tax accounting portfolios and related products.

    Sarah received her Bachelor of Arts from Boston University in 2007, graduating cum laude in three years with a double major in Political Science and Sociology. She obtained her Juris Doctor cum laude in 2011 from American University Washington College of Law and her Master of Laws in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center in 2012, after which she clerked for the Honorable Thomas L. Ambro, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Sarah is a member of the Virginia State Bar and District of Columbia Bar.
