Simon Krinsky is an Executive Managing Director and shareholder at Pathstone, leading the day-to-day strategic management of the firm’s New York office. Additionally, Simon serves as a strategic investment advisor to multi-generational families and charitable endowments. Simon is a member of Pathstone’s Regional Leadership Team and Investment Committee.
Prior to Pathstone, Simon was a Managing Partner at Hall Capital Partners, an Outsourced Chief Investment Office (OCIO) which advised on $45 billion of client assets. He was also a member of the firm’s Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Management Committee, and Investment Review Committee. Simon’s prior experience includes working in the Equities Division of Goldman Sachs, where he had several roles, including convertibles sales and trading in New York and Private Client Services in San Francisco.
Simon graduated from Amherst College with a bachelor’s degree and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation. Simon serves on the Board of Trustees and Chair of the Investment Committee for Amherst College, the Investment Committee for The Chapin School, and the Investment Committee for Weizmann Global Endowment Management Trust.
Simon and his wife live in New York City with their teenage daughter. In his free time, he battles the impacts of aging on the tennis court.
A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) is a professional designation given by the CFA Institute that measures and certifies the competence and integrity of financial analysts. Candidates are required to pass three levels of exams covering areas such as accounting, economics, ethics, money management, and security analysis.
