Steve co-founded and currently serves as Co-CEO of Pathstone. He is a Partner and a voting member of the firm’s Investment Committee and serves on the firm’s Executive Committee and Board of Managers. Steve’s professional experience extends 25 years of working with family offices and advising families on their wealth. Prior to Pathstone, Steve served as president of Harris myCFO Investment Advisory Services, LLC, where he had broad national responsibility for all aspects of myCFO’s investment platform. Within the broader Harris enterprise (myCFO’s parent company) Steve had the distinction of representing the ultra-high net worth market segment on the Senior Management Committee for Harris Private Bank.

Steve is a thought leader and regular contributor to the media  on a wide range on subjects regarding high net worth families, their investment options, challenges and the approach to multigenerational wealth management. He has authored a number of white papers highlighting how families of wealth can think about their investment challenges and opportunities.

Under Steve’s leadership, Pathstone has received national recognition, including most recently in 2017 “Best Ultra High Net Worth Muti-Family Office” by Private Asset Management, “Top 20 RIA Leaders” by Financial Planning Magazine, “Top 300 Financial Advisors” by the Financial Times, and “Top 100 Independent RIA’s” by Barron’s Magazine.*

Outside of his professional commitments, he is actively involved with various local and not-for-profit organizations in a range of capacities. Steve is on the Englewood Hospital and Medical Center Foundation Board of Trustees and Yale-New Haven Hospital Investment Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, and attended the Keller Graduate School of Management MBA Finance Program.
