Susan Wittliff

Susan serves as a Managing Director of Pathstone’s Austin, Texas office and is responsible for spearheading the management of key client relationships in the region. Susan advises ultra-high net worth individuals and families on a full array of wealth management solutions.
Prior to Pathstone, Susan was a Principal and Senior Wealth Advisor of Price Wealth, and provided thoughtful, strategic advice to clients to help them define their goals and build a roadmap for the future. In addition to her focused client-facing work, Susan was responsible for ensuring the firm’s compliance with federal regulatory requirements in her role as Chief Compliance Officer.
While Susan has been working in the financial services industry for over nine years, she began her career as an attorney specializing in corporate securities. After law school, she was an associate at Haynes and Boone, LLP in Dallas, Texas, and then held corporate executive positions at Concentra, Inc., Motorola, Inc., and Freescale Semiconductor, Inc. In addition to her work for the firm, Susan served as the Chair of the Investment Committee for the Texas State University Development Foundation Board from 2013 through 2017, when she transitioned to serving as Board Chair until 2019.
Susan received her Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University and her Juris Doctor degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law. After moving to Austin in 2000, she quickly became very invested in her community. She currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Wittliff Collections and on the Leadership Circle of Communities in Schools – Central Texas, Inc., and has served on several other non-profit boards. Susan and her husband Reid have two teenage children.
