Viren serves as a Managing Director, manages Pathstone’s Seattle office and leads Client Advisory operations for the Pacific Northwest in close partnership with the Executive Managing Director of the region. He advises families on a variety of wealth management issues; risk and cash flow management, tax, trust and estate planning, investment management, philanthropy, and multi-generational family planning. He most enjoys working collaboratively with the client’s comprehensive team to create greater efficiencies in their daily lives and across the families’ generations. Viren also serves as a supervisor and manages and mentors fellow Advisors to help achieve their professional goals.
Viren has over 15 years of experience in wealth management. Prior to joining Pathstone, he was a Managing Director at Cornerstone Advisors, serving as the lead advisor on many complex client relationships and mentoring colleagues. Prior to Cornerstone, Viren served as a Vice President with J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank and began his career as an Associate at Citi Private Bank.
Viren received his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He holds the Certified Financial Planner™ designation and has passed the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Series (FINRA) 7 and 66 exams.
Viren lives in Seattle, Washington, with his wife and their 2 children. He serves as a member of the Board or Trustees and on the Executive Committee as Chair of the Finance Committee for Giddens School, a private K-5 school which his two sons attend. He is a drummer and enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and skiing in the majestic mountains of the Pacific Northwest.
