Cynthia Mendoza

Director

    Cynthia Mendoza serves as a Director on Pathstone’s Investment Operations and Technology team in the Austin, Texas office.

    Prior to Pathstone, Cynthia was a Senior Director of Operations for Price Wealth, and was responsible for managing internal operations, technology infrastructure, systems and applications, vendors, and investor reporting. She was also responsible for effectively creating, implementing, and applying processes and practices throughout the firm.

    Cynthia has over sixteen years of experience in the financial services industry and was a Vice President of Operations at Kovitz Investment Group. There she was responsible for process and workflow integrations as part of the acquisition of AFAM Capital, where she served as Vice President of Operations and Chief Compliance Officer. At AFAM, she was responsible for internal and trading operations. She also designed and managed the intern program and served as a member of the firm’s senior leadership team. Prior to her time at AFAM Capital, Cynthia served at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas and South Texas Money Management.

    Cynthia received her Bachelor of Business Administration in corporate finance from St. Mary’s University and her Master of Business Administration from St. Edward’s University. Cynthia serves the community through her involvement with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and Texas 4000 nonprofit organizations, and volunteers often with Habitat for Humanity and Ronald McDonald House Charities.
