Elena serves as a Managing Director and Partner at Pathstone’s Atlanta office, directly advising several high-net-worth multi-generational families on a variety of wealth management issues, including investment management, trust and estate planning, income taxes, and education for the next generation. Elena co-chairs the HerPath committee whose mission is to ensure women are prepared to play an integral role in their financial lives by elevating their knowledge and confidence in financial decision making.
Elena offers more than 18 years of financial services and investment management experience. Prior to joining Pathstone, Elena spent seven years as an Investment Manager at Truist Bank, advising high net worth clients on developing and implementing investment strategies to help them meet their immediate and future goals. Before that, she worked as a Financial Advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors and served as a Vice President of Equity Derivatives and Structured Products at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey.
Elena has earned the professional designations of Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Financial Planner®, and Chartered Alternatives Financial Analyst. In addition, Elena is also a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst ® (CDFA®), a designation which specially equips her to assist individuals and their attorneys in understanding the complex financial implications of divorce. She is a native of Bulgaria and is a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso where she received a full tennis scholarship. She also has an MBA from Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College.
Elena lives in Atlanta, GA with her two children who are high performance junior tennis players.
