Emily Mears is a Managing Director and shareholder at Pathstone. Emily serves as a trusted advisor and experienced thought partner to entrepreneurs, executives, and their families to help meet their personal and financial objectives and achieve peace of mind.
Emily is deeply passionate about helping clients achieve their overall lifestyle, financial, and philanthropic goals. She provides clients with customized and integrated wealth management solutions, including holistic balance sheet advisement, investment strategy development, portfolio implementation and management, concentrated position strategies, and next generation education.
Emily joins Pathstone from Crestone Capital. Prior to Crestone, Emily was a senior manager at Clayton Consulting Services in Denver, Colorado. In this role, she provided distressed asset advisory services to several prominent Wall Street investors, private equity firms, international financial firms, and central banks. Before this, Emily was a consultant at Navigant Consulting Inc. in Chicago, IL, where she coordinated with clients’ legal counsel on SEC investigations and Fortune 100 merger and acquisition transactions.
Emily received her Bachelor of Science in Finance from Miami University. She was a Denver Business Journal 2022 Outstanding Women in Business awardee.
Emily is on the board of Impact on Education, the foundation for the Boulder Valley School District. She also serves on the board of trustees and is co-chair of the Investment Committee for the Community Foundation Boulder County. She is also an advisory board member of O44 Way.
The Denver Business Journal’s list of 2022 Outstanding Women in Business seeks to recognize women who are “leading their industries and communities through a period of rapid change and unprecedented challenges.” Eligibility starts with a nomination, and nominees must have a physical presence in the Denver metro area.
