“My experience working in other firms has given me an appreciation of Pathstone’s* investment process. In the bi-monthly investment meetings, it’s striking to see how seriously and deeply people think about the clients’ issues and our investment strategies. The team brings the same rigor to socially responsible investing and philanthropy.
“Financial planning was not a major focus until I joined Pathstone** in 2009, and I’ve been impressed with both the firm’s openness to new ideas and the degree to which financial planning has been integrated into our client service. Some clients just want help with budgeting and organizing their finances, while others welcome more comprehensive planning that involves their accountant, insurance advisor, and estate attorney. My role is to facilitate discussion with those advisors to ensure that we’re all on the same page and nothing gets missed.”
