Matt Butterfield is an Associate Direcotr of Pathstone’s Austin, Texas office and works with the team on providing support to key client relationships in the region.
Prior to Pathstone, Matt was an Associate for Price Wealth, and performed various duties within operations, including portfolio onboarding, account maintenance, reporting, and analysis. He has over five years of experience in the financial services industry.
Matt began his career at Nesvick Trading Group, an independent brokerage and CTA services firm in Tennessee, where he handled middle and back office tasks, including client onboarding, investor communications, analysis, and trade execution. Prior to joining Price Wealth, Matt was a trader on the Charles Schwab Retirement Plan Services team. Matt assisted in the maintenance of 401k and Pension plans for large employers, monitoring positions and plan allocations.
Originally from the Chicago area, Matt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Illinois State University. He and his wife, Annalise, moved to Austin in 2018.
