Matt Taylor is an investment team leader and shareholder based in Pathstone’s Philadelphia metro area office. Prior to joining Pathstone, Matt spent 27 years at Veritable working with families, public and private foundations, trustees, and family offices. The team is focused on servicing the unique needs and goals of each engagement and the development of planning reporting and governance solutions. Matt and his team interface closely with clients as well at their tax, legal, or other trusted advisors.
Prior to joining Pathstone Matt spent five years at Sotheby’s in their New York office as a specialist in the clock and watch department and a generalist in the decorative arts division.
Matt earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Art History from Washington & Lee University. Matt also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation from the CFA Institute and is a member of CFA Society Philadelphia.
Matt enjoys spending time behind the stove and sharing the fruits of his labors with friends and family. He enjoys the challenge of planning and cooking for large gatherings. An avid gardener, supporter of open space and community supported agriculture, Matt has been a long-time volunteer for the Willistown Conservation Trust, in Pennsylvania.
