Nathan is a Director and shareholder in Pathstone’s Philadelphia metro area office. He works closely with individuals and families to increase and protect their wealth in a prudent manner. Nathan focuses extensively on relationships, listening closely to and engaging with his clients to understand their needs and preferences around portfolio construction, risk management, and how their portfolios, lifestyles, and long-term objectives align and integrate.
Previously, Nathan served clients at Veritable, LP. Before joining Veritable in 2018, Nathan was immersed in investment manager due diligence and portfolio construction as the Investment Manager for the John Templeton Foundation and as Investment Analyst for Swarthmore College’s endowment. Earlier in his career, Nathan worked eight years at The Vanguard Group, primarily as Relationship and Project Manager in the International Department to support Vanguard’s Asia-Pacific institutional business.
Nathan has and continues to serve as a member of the Investment Advisory Council for the American Baptist Home Mission Society (ABHMS) for many years. He contributes to their mission by working with the ABHMS team and their consultant to oversee investment activities and performance of the portfolio.
Nathan holds dual degrees in English and Japanese from the University of Florida. He holds an MBA with a concentration in investment management from Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business. Nathan is also a CFA® charterholder and member of CFA Society Philadelphia.
Nathan enjoys spending time with his two children and two highly energetic dogs. In his free time, Nathan makes hand-built and wheel-thrown pottery and is known to pick up his tenor and baritone saxophones often.
