Nicole Goethals is a Director and shareholder at Pathstone. Nicole joins Pathstone from Crestone Capital, where she was an Executive Director and Controller, responsible for corporate and fund-of-fund financial reporting, supervising a team of four individuals, and reporting directly to the Executive Committee.
Prior to Crestone, Nicole was a senior controller at FrontRange Capital Partners, LLC, a private equity firm and SEC-registered investment advisor, managing financial reporting for over 20 private equity funds invested in real estate and high growth businesses on behalf of institutions and high net worth individuals. Prior to her role at FrontRange Capital Partners, she was a fund controller for M3 Capital Partners, managing financial reporting and budgeting for a $5.2 billion global private equity fund invested in 14 real estate operating companies. Nicole began her career in the assurance practice of KPMG, LLP, specializing in the real estate industry.
Nicole received her Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance, with a minor in psychology, from Indiana University. She is a certified public accountant (CPA).
